Taiko On Japanese Drummers

The members of this dynamic troupe have drawn from a wide variety of backgrounds and come together to study and display their love of the Japanese drums to the wider Perth audience.
Their Sensei, Simon Vanyai, originally studied Taiko in the mountains of Nagano, and since bringing his love of Wadaiko back to Australia has helped form four Taiko groups across Tasmania and WA.

PERTIWI is an Indonesian name refers to the motherland, as it shows our love to Indonesia as our motherland. It is also part of the inheritance of the four pillars of love of Confucius teaching: Love the Parents, Love the Brothers and Sisters, Love the Friends and Love the Country.

Manawa Mai Tawhiti is a traditional Maori Performing Arts Club dedicated to the preservation of traditional Maori culture. We provide an essential community to all people who call Te Urupu (Perth) home.
Manawa Mai Tawhiti has united a community of New Zealanders in Perth and the greater WA region. We use songs, dances, and lyrics that celebrate traditional Maori culture. We’re always open to new members joining our tight-knit Maori community, and we love being part of your celebrations across Western Australia.

Kukułeczka was founded in 1991 by Artistic Director Monika Szunejko as ‘Kukułeczka Children’s Dance Group’, under the umbrella of Polish Ethnic School in Maylands, Perth.
Ku·ku·łecz·ka (noun)
Pronounced ku – ku (with a short ‘u’ as in ‘put’) – wech – ka Kukułeczka is a form of the Polish name for the common cuckoo bird, which can be often heard singing its characteristic cuckoo call, or spotted in the forests and and meadows of Poland. The cuckoo bird is a key part of Polish folklore, with several well known songs dedicated to it.

The Kavanagh Studio of Irish Dance is a specialist dance school based in Perth, Western Australia. Our mission is to share our love of Irish dance. Through the creation of a safe and supportive environment, our dancers are provided with the tools they need to fulfil their Irish Dancing dreams.
We aim to create confident, happy and healthy dancers by considering their individual ambition and ability. Our dancers are encouraged to strive for excellence, work hard and dream big.
Roztiazhka Cossack Dancers

Roztiazhka Ukrainian Cossack Dancers are an independent adult dance company formed in Perth, Western Australia in 1991.
The company is currently comprised of over 25 dancers. Although, membership fluctuates from season to season. Our non-performing Alumni is in excess of 50 people.
Roztiazhka strives to keep the tradition of Ukrainian Dancing alive in Perth and share their passion for Ukrainian Dance and culture with the Australian public.
